Notice pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) for visitors of this website and anyone writing to us through the contact form.
1. Data controller

No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as it is not required.
2. Data processed
Data you provide: full name, company, email, phone and message content sent through the contact form.
Browsing data: IP address, date and time, requested pages and browser type, logged by the hosting server for operation and security of the site. The sender's IP address is also included in the email we receive.
Spam-prevention data: a non-reversible identifier derived from the IP address, kept for at most two hours to limit the number of submissions.
Site usage data, only if you accept statistics cookies: pages viewed, visit length, device and browser type, approximate origin, collected in aggregate form through Google Analytics.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Replying to your requests and following up on quotes or information requests: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual steps) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in handling communications).
Site security and prevention of abuse and spam: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Statistics on site usage, to improve content and operation: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page.
Compliance with legal obligations: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
4. Nature of provision
Name, email and message are needed so that we can reply; other fields are optional. Without the necessary data we cannot handle your request.
5. Recipients
Data is processed by authorised Eltec staff and by suppliers acting as data processors, notably Aruba S.p.A. (hosting and email).
Only if you accept statistics cookies, usage data is processed by Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) as data processor (policies.google.com/privacy). Otherwise the site uses no third-party services for tracking or spam verification. Data is not disclosed or sold.
6. Transfers outside the EU
The site does not transfer personal data to countries outside the European Economic Area, except usage data collected by Google Analytics, only if you accept statistics cookies: Google may process it in the United States on the basis of the safeguards it has adopted (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses).
7. Retention
Requests received through the form are kept for as long as needed to handle them and, absent a business relationship, no longer than 24 months from the last contact.
Google Analytics statistics data is kept for no longer than 14 months.
Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for the technical periods needed for security.
8. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), and withdraw any consent given, by writing to info [at] eltecsis [dot] it.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante (www.garanteprivacy.it), or your local authority.

We may update this notice; the version in force is always the one published on this page.
